Heather Blake's unusual structures, crafted in Italy, by skilled artisans, merge tradition and innovation to create shoes of uncompromising quality.
Heather's passion for shoemaking flourished at Cordwainers College where she studied all aspects of footwear. Heather enhanced her knowledge while working for bespoke shoemakers, Fosters and Sons. Heather refined her design vision at the Royal College of Art. While studying she also designed collections for Alberta Ferretti and Philosopy. Her impressive final Masters collection won the prestigious accolade of ITS5 'Accessories Collection Of The Year 2006', which lead to a collaboration with iconic Italian shoemaker Salvatore Ferragamo. Heather's dream to create her own luxury brand was realised in February 2009. At London Fashion Week she launched her debut collection 'Black' which caught the attention of international press.
